SIPHO.

This month we want to highlight SIPHO., a UK artist hailing from Birmingham with a memorable voice that stands out in the crowded landscape of R&B artists. His soulful voice and genre-bending artistry draw you into each song he creates. The passion in his voice is undeniable and consistent across his work, giving the vibes of an artist ahead of his time. 

My first introduction to SIPHO was his song "BEADY EYES" from his EP "SHE MIGHT BLEED," released in 2022. The lyrics were catchy yet provocative, and the beat behind them was amazing.

The EP itself further solidified that this artist was special and had me looking forward to new projects from him in the future. 

In 2023, SIPHO. released his debut album, "PRAYERS & PARANOIA," a blend of soul, R&B, and a bit of Rock & Roll.  It stayed in my personal rotation for months, as there were no skips on the entire project giving a great listening experience. The arrangement was methodical, with each track blending smoothly into the next. If you haven't taken the opportunity to listen to this project, I recommend queuing it up and diving in.
