It's heating up outside, and new music releases are picking up. We're all looking forward to enjoying warmer weather, and with that, we'll need options to soundtrack our summer. Artists seem to be gearing up to throw their name in the hat for great music this summer and this past Friday gives us some entries to consider.

Luna Elle - Certainty Of Life

Canadian singer-songwriter Luna Elle releases her latest single, "Certainty Of Life." Luna Elle's pure and unique voice stands out on this track about her feelings for someone, feelings that she is having a hard time describing and hoping are reciprocated.

Tash - Therapist

Australian artist Tash releases her latest single, "Therapist." She's been consistent over the years, releasing new music frequently year after year. "Therapist" is one of my favorite releases this week, with the smooth guitar in the background and silky vocals over the track. A good bass and acoustic guitar on a track gets me every time, please excuse my bias.

7AE - Stories for your friends

Minnesota native 7AE (pronounced "Jay") released his latest single, "Stories for your friends." A song about what could have been and how a failed attempt at a relationship, leaving only stories to be told about the situation.

FLO - Walk Like This

U.K. group FLO, consisting of Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer, released their new up-tempo track "Walk Like This." The song, to me, has an early 2000s tone when there were more groups in the space. This track, in the right setting, could get your body moving with its very warm weather vibe.

TheARTI$T - ARTchives: The Gallery

THEARTI$T is back with the extended version of her debut album ARTchives. "The Gallery" features four additional tracks "Love Is", "You For Me", "Inside My Heart", and "Damaged". If you were a fan of the original release, than you'll enjoy the additions as they stay true to the mellow tone of the entire album.

Olivia Nelson - No Angel

U.K. artist Olivia Nelson released her latest single, singing about a relationship where she's staying with something she loves yet is unfaithful. The title "No Angel" is a self-admittance to knowing that she is not a good person for her actions and is aware of it.

Tank, Fabolous - Before We Get Started

Tank is back with new music for the first time since his "R&B Money" album in 2022. Fabolous appears on the song and blends seamlessly in the song as he's done so many times before. Fabolous and Tank have worked together on other occasions, featuring on songs by Joe Budden and Red Cafe for those listening in the mid-2010s.

Visuals for the song have also been released, showing the two in a grown and sexy vibe fitting for two artists who have been around for over two decades.
