Formed in 1986 in Oakland, California, Tony! Toni! Toné! was the brainchild of Wiggins, his half-brother Raphael Saadiq, and their cousin Timothy Christian Riley. The trio seamlessly blended soul, funk, and R&B, producing timeless hits like “Feels Good,” “It Never Rains (In Southern California),” and “Anniversary.” Their 1993 album, Sons of Soul, achieved double-platinum status, solidifying their influence in the R&B genre.
