Nina Deluxe

Jack Freeman is giving his 2024 project Nina new life with the release of Nina (Deluxe Edition) — a major expansion that adds twelve new tracks, including three standout remixes that connect the Houston singer to R&B and hip-hop royalty.

One of the highlights is the remix to “UNDRESS,” where Freeman teams up with the legendary Jagged Edge. Their unmistakable harmonies weave seamlessly with Freeman’s smooth delivery, creating a fresh take that feels like a perfect generational bridge in R&B.

Fans also get two different versions of “MVP.” The first features Houston icon Bun B, who brings his veteran presence to the record, while the second recruits Alabama native Big K.R.I.T., adding his signature southern touch. Both remixes originally dropped in July as part of Freeman’s MVP EP, and now find their home on the deluxe project.

With the expanded tracklist, Freeman shines a brighter light on the artistry and storytelling that made the original Nina special. Despite flying under the radar, Nina remains one of the more underappreciated R&B releases in recent years. The deluxe edition not only reintroduces the project to new listeners but also underscores Freeman’s ability to craft deeply soulful records that deserve more attention.

For fans who may have overlooked Nina the first time around, the deluxe edition is the perfect entry point — a reminder that Jack Freeman is one of the most underrated voices in modern R&B.
